梁振英先生畢業於英皇書院，及後就讀於香港理工學院及英國布里斯托理工學院。梁先生先後獲香港、山東及英國等地的4所大學頒發榮譽博士學位。
梁先生曾任皇家特許測量師學會香港分會的主席及香港測量師學會會長。
自1970年代末，梁先生積極參與中國內地的土地及房屋制度改革，並參加了於1998年修改憲法後的首次土地使用權出讓工作。
梁先生在1997年至2011年擔任香港行政會議的非官守成員，並於1999年至2011年擔任行政會議召集人。
梁振英先生於2012年3月獲選為第四屆香港特別行政區行政長官，並於2017年3月獲選為全國政協副主席。
